Hazelwood is one half of a duplex cottage that sits on the south side of our property (near the street). Hazelwood, which was updated inside and out in 2011, faces north and has a view of the garden and partial views of Lake Erie. There are two bedrooms upstairs, and the first floor consists of a living/dining area, a small kitchen, a roomy full bath, and a screened-in porch with a porch swing.

Hazelwood sleeps up to 6 adults—with a double bed in one of the upstairs bedrooms and two double beds in the other.

Keep in mind that the Robinhood/Hazelwood duplex is ideal for large parties (up to 12 guests). If you rent both sides, you can open the locking doors between the two sides and spread out—or keep the doors closed if you want less togetherness!

Hazelwood’s small kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, toaster, and coffee pot, as well as pots and pans, dishes, and utensils. Hazelwood shares a charcoal grill with Robinhood.

Cable TV and WiFi internet are included.

The duplex has window-unit air-conditioning, as well as fans.

Guests must provide their own linens, including sheets, pillowcases, blankets, towels, and washcloths.

With prior approval, small pets (25 pounds or less) are permitted for a fee ($10 per pet, per night, per cottage), but only if you rent both Robinhood and Hazelwood. This policy is necessary to avoid problems with noise (barking). If you arrive with a large pet (more than 25 pounds), the fee will be $20 per night ($140/week). Large pets are not encouraged.

We provide off-street parking for a maximum of 3 cars for Hazelwood. The limit on the number of cars is strictly enforced. Additional parking can be found on the street.

The weekly rate for Hazelwood (Sunday to Sunday), including the 8% bed tax, is $931, which is also the rate for Thunder on the Strip (Thursday to Sunday).

A $150 deposit per cottage is required at the time of reservation. Note that if you cancel your reservation, your deposit will not be refunded unless we can rent the cottage to someone else.
