COVID-19 Update

Social distancing measures at Madsen’s Donuts, April 18, 2020

The state of Ohio’s current stay-at-home order remains in effect until May 1.

Because Memorial Day weekend is still five weeks away, we’re hopeful that we’ll be able to open as usual for summer 2020. We’ve already started our preparations for your arrival.

We hope you and yours are well, and we’re looking forward to seeing you this summer! Stay safe at home, and keep your fingers crossed!

Lake Level

Unfortunately, our beach does not look like this, but things could be worse!

Some of you have heard about erosion problems in GOTL and have asked what’s happening at Rawdon Cottages.

We’re happy to report that, so far, we’re not having any issues with erosion. There’s no ice on the lake, the water level is still very high, and we don’t have much beach—but the situation is about the same as it was in summer 2019.

Summer 2020 Vacancies

Is Geneva-on-the-Lake in your plans for summer 2020? If so, it’s time to think about reserving one of our few remaining openings.

Be aware that early in the year, we prefer not to take summer weekend reservations in advance because doing so prevents us from renting the entire preceding week.

Here’s what we currently have available:

May 31–June 7: Robinhood, Hazelwood, and Sunset
June 7–21: Sunset
July 5–12: Sunset
August 2–9: Robinhood
August 16–22: Robinhood and Hazelwood
August 23–September 6: Robinhood, Hazelwood, and Sunset

We’re completely booked for Memorial Day weekend and Thunder on the Strip, but we do still have openings for Labor Day weekend.
