SUMMER 2024 AVAILABILITY

We currently have no vacancies for Lakeside for summer 2024. We do have some openings for Robinhood and Hazelwood starting August 11.

RAWDON COTTAGES is a family-owned summer rental business that has been in continuous operation on the Lake Erie shore since 1915. Our lakeside cottages are situated on landscaped grounds with a private beach, steps from the west end of the entertainment strip in Geneva-on-the-Lake, Ohio.

We’re open from Memorial Day weekend to mid September. We rent by the week (Sunday to Sunday), with shorter-term rentals for Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends (two-night minimum) and Thunder on the Strip in September (three-night minimum).

Roberta Shearson, a lifelong resident of Geneva-on-the-Lake and proprietor of Rawdon Cottages, passed away at home on September 2, 2021. You can read her obituary here.

Robinhood & Hazelwood

Robinhood/Hazelwood, a duplex cottage on the south side of our property (near the street), is ideal for large families. Each side of the duplex sleeps 6, so a total of 12 people can be accommodated. You can open the locking doors between the two sides and spread out—or keep the doors closed if you want less togetherness! (Each side can also be rented individually.)

One side of the duplex (Hazelwood) has a view of the garden and a partial view of the lake, and the other side (Robinhood) has a street view, perfect for people-watching. Both Robinhood and Hazelwood have two bedrooms upstairs, as well as a living/dining area, a small kitchen, a roomy full bath, and a screened porch on the first floor, each with a porch swing.

Lakeside Cottage

Lakeside is our most popular cottage—and for good reason! You just can’t beat the spectacular 180° views of Lake Erie from the full-width enclosed sunroom and elevated deck. This two-level cottage, updated in 2017, has two full baths and sleeps up to 8 adults, and the lower-level sleeping area has walk-out access to the yard and the beach.
